Dr. Amber was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha before attending the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The Palmer College Davenport Campus is know as the “fountainhead” and is where chiropractic began. It was the first school for chiropractic. Dr. Amber has been practicing since her graduation in 2010.
While attending Palmer, Dr. Amber was a teaching assistant for the Physical Diagnosis department and made the Dean’s List. In October 2009, Dr. Amber traveled to Nadi, Fiji to participate in the school’s Clinic Abroad Program. This program selects students attending Palmer to provide chiropractic treatment to underprivileged people all over the world that may not otherwise have access to health care.
When Dr. Amber is not in the office treating and teaching people about the benefits of chiropractic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son doing outdoor activities. Biking has become an enjoyable activity in recent years, along with gardening and reading.
